Students in Mr. Provenzano’s class were working on a production of Romeo and Juliet. It is a movie that is being written, produced, acted, and advertised by students. Some people have brought up the complaint that the traditional method of learning Romeo and Juliet. Which is to study the subject, discuss, and test on it is better than this new idea of learning it through the production of a movie. A few good reasons why making a film is better than studying is students are more interested in participating in the project, social skills are built due to the benefits of working with others, and memories of the project which will never be forgotten.
During this project students were allowed more and successful participation through working on their own desired and specific task. Working on their own desired tasks encouraged more independent thinking and individual work ethics. This project required people to know the subject thoroughly, in order for an individual to complete their task. For example, a writer needs to know the entire story in order to change it and make it his own while still relating to the original text. As well as a person whose job it is to be an actor. An actor needs to know everything about his character in order to play the role. This includes his lines, personality, lifestyle, and points of views. Participation benefits students because rather than taking tests you are more involved through working on your own specific task. Also, participation benefits students because a different work ethic is developed.
Working with other students increases social skills. For this project, the students of Mr. P’s class worked with other students in Iowa. Working with students from Iowa provides an experience of working in the work world. In the working world people work with others from all around the globe, which provides a sense of unity despite the distance. In order to develop social skills that are required for the working world communication must be perfected. While working with Iowa students our two schools communicated ideas, which helped to create a successful project. Also working with others benefits students because it provides teamwork. Teamwork is used daily in the working world to accomplish some of the most difficult and large-scale projects.
Completing this project was something that Mr. P’s students will never forget throughout their entire life. The best way to memorize and make an impact is through hands on tasks that the students completed. A person remembers information from events that have impacted them and sticks out from all others. When classmates look back, they will remember that this project helped them understand more thoroughly the aspects of working and communicating with others. The skills that they developed during this project will only benefit them in my future.
As students of Mr. Provenzano’s class, they have experienced and developed a hand’s on method of participation, socials skills, and memories. During this project students were allowed more, and successful participation through working on their own desired and specific task. Working on our own desired tasks encouraged more independent thinking and individual work ethics. Also, this project increased social skills. Students worked with students in Iowa, which provided a sense of unity and teamwork. Teamwork is used daily in the working world to accomplish some of the most difficult and large-scale projects. The project is done

The project is done and we are all very happy with it. Altough there is still a little bit of filming that has to be done tomorrow. Its been about a month since we started this project and we are all anxious to see the end result. The premiere of the movie is going to on saturday, April 30th. Before it there is going to be a party were im guessing there is goin to be pizza and soda. Everyone can bring a guest and i hope to see you there for the show.

Problem with the video

Since yesterday my network has been down. I
Am doing this post on my phone. I tried it again this morning and it is still down. The people from Comcast are going to come later today. As soon as my Internet is back up I am going to post my video. My apologies to Mr. Provenzano, I should have told you yesterday of my predicament.

The second video

I have started to work on my second video for the Romeo and Juliet project. I am also going to be playing the role of Friar John in Act 5 scenes 2 and 3. The shooting for these scenes is going to be this weekend.

I havent started to work on my second video. For this next video I hope to have some footage from the actual movie. My next video is due in a fort night. So expect it then.
